When the bombing occured on September 11, 2001 I was eight years old in the third grade. My classmates and I were sitting in the computer lab working and the principal came on the intercom and made an annoucment. I didn't have a clue about what was going on. Then the computer lab teacher turned on the radio and the news reports were talking about the bombing. I was kind of scared because I thought we were going to be next. When I got home the news on every channel that I turned to. I didn't really understand what was happening then, but now I realize that the same thing could have happened to me and the people around me. I still worry about what could happen to us. It was a very sad day for many people across the world.
