911DA Story: Story

I was riding to work in my car on that beautiful sunny day, listening to the radio on September 11th. An emergency broadcast came over the radio telling about the first plane that had hit the World Trade Center. The announcer thought it was a joke and went back to playing music. When I got to work, I asked my boss if he had heard anything about it. He said no, but it would not surprise him if it were terrorist. I quickly turned on my computer and went to the internet. As I was watching a live broadcast on my computer, the next plane flew in and hit the second tower. I just sat there in disbeleif. How could these people be so evil? Needless to say, I then heard about the plane that had crashed in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon. I went and took my kids out of school and went home. It was a very upsetting day and as we were sitting there watching this on the TV, our neighborhood lost their electric. I was in a little bit of a panic with everything that was going on. It turned out that there was an accident down the road and the plant had blown a transformer. I felt so bad for the people that were in those building and sorrow for their relatives. 911 is a day I along with many others will never forget. By the way, that radio announcer was fired.
