911DA Story: Story
September 11, 2001
September 11, 2003 is a day that I still remember as if it were yesterday. At that moment, I was living in Colombia ? South America. I was working when everything happened. Suddenly, my boss called everybody and gave us the news. We immediately turned on the television. All the channels were explaining that the United States had been attacked. All the people in the company stopped working. All of us were frozen watching the news. It was horrible to see those imagines over and over. We did not know anybody that died in those terrorist attacks. However, it was a sad day for all of us.
For a month, we had masses in honor of all the people who died on September 11, 2001. Additionally, the president of our country (Colombia) ordered that every day at 10:00 am everybody should observe five minutes of silence. Definitely, this day had a big impact in everyone and in everything.
