I left the courthouse after hearing of the plane crashes and a collapse. I had no idea of the extent of the damage. I drove home on the N.J. Turnpike and could see, firsthand, the New York skyline and the cloud of smoke and dust where the Towers once stood. I didn't yet realize at that time that my uncle worked in Tower 1. When I learned that no one had heard from him, everything stopped. Going to his home and being with the entire family was the longest day of my life. Hearing his kids cry was sickening.

Chris was 35 years old with a wife and five kids ages 9 to 2. He left behind his mother, a brother and 4 sisters and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
