911DA Story: Story
i'll never forget that day i had just hopped off the bus and put everything into my locker. i sat through my first period with nothing really happening .( my school is a jrotc school its an all male private military school. i was a freshmen at the time) all i remember was walking into the court for our daily formation there wasa buzz in the air and i had to find out what it was. I kept asking what had happened? my friend dan came up to me and said "some idiots flew their plane into the pentagon" i responded with a "oh" we stood at formation things went by fast we said our prayer and proceeded to our next class i didnt really realize what was happening . my next period came and they called an urgent meeting in our meeting area i walked in to see around 700 solem faces of boys as young as 12 to 18 our principal at the time came up and began to tell us about what had happened. i didnt understand . we were america this can't happen to us . we were dismissed and we had to call our parents. i remember some kids with worried faces because there parents were in new york city at the time. they sent us to class and i sat through it but i couldnt handle it i had to get out i requested to goto the bathroom and left i walked downt he hall and passed a class room to see a tv with two massive towers one bellowing out a thick black cloud . i ran back to the class i was in and reported whati had just seen they let us watch the tv i jus sat there watching and my eyes began to well up i coudlnt help it i cried as i watched it happened . i got a ride to my friends home and i was ancipating another attack but nothing came i watched as people jumped from there buildings i stayed up that whole night and just watched . praying that there were surviors in the rubble but there were none. that is my recollection of that day
