911DA Story: Story

I remember that day like it was yesterday. But, beore I get into that I first of all want to express my deepest sympathy to those families and friends who lost loved ones in any of the three terror attacks. I can only imagine what is must be like to have that happen.
I was working like normal when my friend came in and said a plane had hit the WTC, I thought to myself surely that must be a mistake, then I went to where we had the TV on CNN and I saw the second plane hit. I could hardly believe my eyes. I was shocked. President Bush was only a few miles away in Sarasota getting ready to ready to the kids. That day has changed my life forever. I have a friend who works for the Disaster Unit for THE SALVATION ARMY in Tampa, FL.and he was called to go to New York City to help out. I talked to him when he came back and the stories were unreal. I remember going to church the next Sunday after the attach and so many people there, it has been felt by everyone. I have cried many times when I see pictures, read stories hear songs like " Proud to be an American " . I am so far from the WTC but, yet it has impacted me for life and I hope I will always feel the way I felt after that, the patrotism and so happy to be free. I pray that someday we will have World Peace and we in America will never have to feel afraid again. I pray for each family and friend who lost a loved one, I pray each day will get a litte easier for you but, we should never forget how that one day has impacted each and everyone of us. May God Bless You all and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!
