I had spent the night at my best friends house. She had school that day but I didn't so I was asleep(we do independent studies). She came storming into her room and shook me awake telling me that the WTC tower was hit by a plane. I of course(still in sleep mode) shook her off, thinking she was just joking around. I went back to sleep, she went to school. When she came back 30 minutes later, I was still asleep, so she woke me up and showed me the news, I didn't know what to say! I just sat there with my eyes wide open and my mouth in an 'O' shape. The first thing I did was call my mom, who hadn't left for work yet, she had heard the news while taking my lil sister to school. It doesn't seem like a year has passed since this attack on America happened, it seems just like yesterday! My thoughts go out to the familys who lost their loved one(s) on September 11th 2001. God Bless America and UNITED WE STAND!!
