I was working in a warehouse with my team mates. We were listening to the radio when it was announced that an airplane had hit the Twin Towers. We thought at first that a plane had just had an accident. Then came the second announcement. The sadness I felt. The disbelief that this was happening. I thought the world was coming to an end. The anger I felt that someone could do this to innoncent people. I just wanted to go home and be with my kids. But I had to finish out the day. They were letting some schools out early that day. Lucky my sons wasn't one of them since I had to work. I came home that night and my son and I watched T.V. all night it seemed like. The questions he had I had no answers to. I thought why should someone so young have to go through this. I cried for about a week over the children wives and parents that had lost their families in such a thoughtless way. I realized that life has no guarentees. take one day at a time as if it were your last. I am really depressed today thinking about it all over again. The lost loved ones will always be remembered.
