My daughter called and told me to find a television and turn it on that an airplance crashed into the WTC. By the time I got to a television, the second plane had crashed into the other tower. I was stunned and I shook all over. I was dumb-founded with horror. I left work and picked up my grandson and took him home. When I checked him out of school, he asked what was wrong and I replied: something really bad has happened. He's 10, so I told him the truth, that a plane crashed into the WTC and it is believed that it was terrorist. I told him I just wanted to be with him. When I got him home with his mom and dad I drove home in disbelief. I cried every night for two straight weeks. I still do. It's just so hard and the pain for those lost and those who lost their loved ones is just too overwhelming.
