911DA Story: Story

First, i'd like to send my deepest, heartfelt sympathy to all the families of the victims, New York, the Pentagon, and all those on the planes. Our brave policemen, fireman, E.M.T'S and volunteers. I Was at home, 9-11-01, my son and daughter were with me, I remember how beautiful the day was. My husband called from MS. and told us to turn on the t.v. I was actually brought to my knees as i saw the second plane fly into the south tower.I could hardley see through my tears as we watched, horrified as the mighty towers collapsed! My children and I prayed for our country, the victims, and families. All day we held a vigil in front of out t.v. hoping for any info.on survivors. We immediately bought an American flag, and have proudly flown it daily for it for 9-11-01. I did not work or live in New York, or the Pentagon, or in Shanksville but I am an American, and a mother and my heart was broken, and my spirit badly shaken on that fateful day. I still pray for all the people, and espically the children.I now pray for our soldiers who fight for our Freedom. Tragedy has touched us all,we will bear the scars forever, but we will never forget!
