NMAH Story: Story
When I first found out about the terrorists hitting
the WTC Towers I was in my 6th period class at Thompson High
School in Alabama. One of my friends was crying because her
brother was in the Army and she was scared that her brother
was going to have to fight in the war. I asked her what she
meant and she told me about the WTC Towers being hit and I
thought it was something small or not a big deal.
I got home from school later that day and my mom was
home from work, which was very unusual because she usually
works until 8:00pm, and she met me at the door and before
I could say anything she grabed me and gave me a big hug
and started crying. When she did this I knew that what had
happened was much more serious than what I had thought.
Once I had come inside the T.V. was on and for the
first time that day I got to see what had really happened,
it was about 5:00pm that day.

NMAH Story: Life Changed
I HAVE BECOME MORE PROUD TO AN AMERICAN!!!
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think the heroes and the victims should be the ones
we remember most, but everything that happened on September
11, 2001 should also be remembered.
