NMAH Story: Story
As a contact center manager for Exult, our department phones are always ringing. Afterall, that is our business. On the morning of September 11, one of my employees received a call from her son telling her that the World Trade Center had been hit by an airplane. I assured her that this was nothing but a hoax. The odds of a plane striking the World Trade Center seemed unfathomable. Then, the phones went silent. The second plane had struck.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
I have always made it habit to tell people "hi" when I meet them and ask, "how are you?" I think now I mean it more when I ask them. I think "good bye" means more to me too, it could be the last - you never know. Most importantly, "I Love You" seems to mean somuch more than it did before. I can't find enough people to tell them that I love them.
NMAH Story: Remembered
Families. Family structure and our innerdependance on one another is the moral fiber that is woven through out this country. It is what gives us our strength. So many families were touched on that day. I mourn not for the fallen, but for those whose live have been irreversably altered in ways they could not imagine.
NMAH Story: Flag
I have always flown an American flag. No, my feelings have not changed. Too many people died protecting it. It has always had my utmost respect and love.
