NMAH Story: Story
Sitting in Ecology class, a fellow student beame bored with class and turned the TV on. -Though it would have most likely been a reason to get yelled at, all the room's attention was focused on what was being seen. The TV was turned on right as the second plane was hitting the tower. My teacher then recieved a call from someone else in the school, to tell her about the Pentagon. My teacher took it lightly and wanted to turn the TV off until we watched the towers collapse. --That's when everyone realized the severity of the situation.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
NMAH Story: Remembered
What should be remembered about September 11th is the revolution that was started, the unity that was formed and the love that was expressed. . .
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes I did. Before the attacks, the flag was merely a symbol for our country. -Actually, a few weeks after the attacks, I grew mad with the sudden growth of patriotism. -Everyone in this country should have been flying flags prior to the attacks. -It angered me that the unity and patriotic feelings soared when the incident happened. -I understand people may have felt it was the right thing to do, but it just seemed too cheap to be sincere. It's most likely wrong of me to think that, but at least it brought around unity and love. - A year later, I think the flag no longer only represents our country, but now shows the everyone's love.
