NMAH Story: Story

On the morning of September 11th, I was pulling into the parking lot at work just before the first plane hit Tower 1. I remember as I was getting ready to turn off the car radio, I heard that a commuter jet had just hit the WTC. Immediately I thought that it was a terrible accident, and quickly went inside to turn on the TV. Of course, that was just the beginning. Soon after, there was the horrible scene on TV of the second plane hitting Tower 2. Everyone was just riveted to the news cast, hoping that this was a horrible accident. Too soon we found out that this was an unthinkable act of terrorism.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

Since the events of September 11th, I have embraced life with a new perspective. I have learned to forgive a little quicker, put myself in other people's shoes more often, and be more compassionate towards people.

I thank God everyday for my blessings, and the joy of knowing that my family and I live in the strongest and most resilient country in the world.

NMAH Story: Remembered

Everyone around the world should remember those who perished on September 11th and keep their families and friends in their prayers every day. We should keep our President and decision makers in our thoughts and prayers as well as they guide us to peace and accord with the events that occurred on September 11th and renew our faith and loyalty in the red, white and blue.

God Bless America!

NMAH Story: Flag

We have put flags out every day since September 11th. They adorn our garden and we fly them with pride. I have a new found respect for the American flag and I think it is wonderful to drive our neighborhoods or pass cars on the road with the red, white and blue flying in the breeze.

God Bless America!
