NMAH Story: Story
I saw the World Trade Centers on tv in the morning before I went to school. There was smoke coming out of it and it seemed like a chimney. I thought it was a horrible accident at first, but when I saw the 2nd plane go into the other tower I knew that it wasn't an accident. At school that day nobody was doing schoolwork, everyone was watching the news. Everyone at shool was talking about what happened and many people had different stories depending on who they heard about it from. It was kind of scary and it seemed like it was a movie because it didn't seem real at all that something like this would happen in the United States with no sort of warning at all. Seeing the people jump from the burning tower was a really bad thing to see.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life hasn't really changed at all since 9-11-03. I didn't know anyone who was involved with the tragedy, but it still is something I won't soon forget.
NMAH Story: Remembered
All of the people who died saving other people's lives, all the people who dug through the rubble for weeks to find any more survivors, and any innocent people who died in the towers or anywhere else from this attack shoud be remembered. The people who caused the attacks will hopefully be remembered as well.
NMAH Story: Flag
My feelings toward the flag have changed because now I see the flag as a symbol of unity.
