NMAH Story: Story
I was away when the attacks happened. One of the staff let us watch it on TV.Whats scary is my dad was able to watch them being built and saw them coming down as well.Almost all of my family friends and relatives work and live by the city.My dad looked at the twins everyday. My friends had relatives that worked at the pentagon. So it really affected me personally because the people I was so close to were affected seriously too.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life has changed alot since the attacks. I go to New York City alot and it was a normal thing to see the twins at the tip of Manhatten coming from Jerzey. Now it still hasn't really kicked in.I saw the memorial lights and ground zero,it was shocking. It doesn't feel like a year... more like a few weaks.I have always had such a respect for this country.Growing up with a military family we were always taught to be proud of our stripes. I never thought this country would come together like it has. It's a shame it has had to be this way.
NMAH Story: Remembered
The men and women of the N.Y.P.D. and the F.D.N.Y as well as the New Jersey men and women.I think we should remember the victims and there families, but more importantly I think we should remember who we are as a country. We should never be quiet, never lay down, and never lose our ground. We are AMERICA a country of UNITY!!!
NMAH Story: Flag
I have always had the utmost respect for our flag, with dreams of going into the Marines I have always flown my flag proud. It's wonderful that so many Americans are supporting there colors but its a shame it took something like this. I have always been proud and have shown it.
