NMAH Story: Story
I woke up on that morning from the loudness of the television, got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't ready yet, so I thought I'd see what my mom was watching. My mom was so into ti and I still didn't get it. I watched for a while, and BOOM! a tower was hit. I finally understood. I was a little scared for the people that I way jumping out of windows that were on the 100th floor, but also a little excited about what was going on. I wasn't excited like... happy, more like wondering what was gonna happen. When I finally got to school, I got more information. I didn't see the towers fall, but when I got home I turned on the news and they were re-showing what happened. Then I understood it all.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life has changed only with one thing. And that one thing is taking stuff for granted. Before 9/11, I always took somethings for granted. Now I don't. I'm kinda glad it happened (well not the whole fact that IT HAPPENED!) But that I don't take things for granted as much or anymore.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think all the firefighters and police should be remembered FOREVER. Because they are the true heros of 9/11. They put their own lives in danger for others.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, I did. And yes my feelings changed about the flag. Before I thought it was just a way to tell who we are. Now I think it as a symbol of love, helpfulness, liberty, and peace.
