NMAH Story: Story
After getting my 6 yr.old son off to school,I layed back down for awhile longer. My husbund called around 9:00 a.m., telling me that a plane had just hit the World Trade Center. At first I thought that it was an accident. I turned on the television to see what was going on. After a few min. as I watched the second plane hit.Everything started comeing together in my mind that this was not an accident, but that the buildings were being hit on purpose. I yelled to my brother to turn on his TV.We were glued to the TV'S all day long, me watching MSNBC and my brother on CNN. Our country was under attack, I was terrified. Knowing all the people who were dieing in the towers was to much to bear. The hate and the anger for those who did this will never leave me. My prayers go out to those who lost loved ones. I still cry when I watch programs dealing with 9-11. I will " NEVER FORGET ".
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Other than the trickel down effect that 9-11 had on the economy, and I am paranoid about all the non-americans running the quick and go stores, and wondering if our power plants and water supplys are safe, not to mention all the duck tape I bought and water I have stored I guess my life is about the same.
NMAH Story: Remembered
EVERYTHING!!! NEVER FORGET !!!
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes my flag went up that day!!! It is still up and will be always. I put a Red White and Blue ribbon on the antenna of my car on sept 11, 2001 and though it is worn it is still there waveing in the wind where ever I go. The American Flag stands for Freedom I pray it will fly forever. God Bless America.
