NMAH Story: Story
I witnessed history on September llth early in the morning. I had gotten ready early for school and had time to spare so i turned on my television to watch the morning news. It was the Today show where i saw a smoking building on the screen. I thought it was a fire of a building at first, but then i thought it was part of a movie. Finally, i scrolled my eyes to the bottom of the screen where it read New York City. Then the voices of the commentators sunk it we had been hit, but at the time only one was hit so i thought it was an accident. When i arrived at school my teacher informed us that another was hit. She told us it was probably a terrorist group of some kind, most likely Osama bin Laden.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
No, it hasnt. It has been normal. This proves to me that life goes on after tragedy.
NMAH Story: Remembered
That when the terrorists attacked us our nation became more united. We had proven our name of the United States of America.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, we did. We put on bumper stickers and put an American flag out in the front of my house. Since September 11, it has become a symbol of pride to me, pride in our glorius nation.
