NMAH Story: Story

A friend of mine from Indiana and I were on the phone and both had the FOX television station on. We watched the early events together while on the phone. It was strange that we both were tuned into the same netwrk at the same time.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

Yes. My husband and I owned a video tape rental store. 9-11 killed our business and we had to sell our inventory at a substantial loss. We just divorced this week.

NMAH Story: Remembered

That Americans take too much for granted. I think that most citizens believe whatever they are told and don't question the actions of our government. I think that the USA has it's fingers in way too many pots. There are places that we are not wanted in the world and we have no business being there. Why would anyone believe that we should be welcomed with open arms "everywhere"? It's foolish to believe that someone, someday would not retaliate.

We should remeber the lives that were lost definitely. However, we should not loose sight of the reason that those lives were lost.

NMAH Story: Flag

My family has always flown the flag. My now ex-husband was a former Marine and my son has been sworn in as a Marine and leaves for boot in October. I said the Pledge of Allegance as a child and can't believe that children are not allowed to say it in schools today. I put my hand over my heart when the flag goes by and remind anyone around me to do the same or remove their cap. The flag is a symbol of the freedom that we enjoy and a memorial to those that gave their lives for it. It has always been respected here.
