NMAH Story: Story
I was in Reading, my first period class, when the act of terrorism occured. All day at school, we watched the footage of the twin towers on the teachers' televisions. By the end of the day, most of us where crying in disbelief.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Yes, my life has definatively been changed because of September 11, 2001. I now appreciate each day that I get to live in this country which reacted so courageously to that unforgetable day. I have so much more respect for our country's leaders, such as the firefighters and armed forces, who make this country safer for all of us to live in.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think everyone should remember how America became even more united, although the terrorists tried to tear us apart.
NMAH Story: Flag
I now realized what the American flag represents. It is not the flag that bonds us; the flag represents our bonds. It stands for all the people who died, all the pain our nation has suffered, and how heroically we responded to the mayhem.
