NMAH Story: Story

I saw the events on TV. I was in class. Another teacher asked if she could speak to my teacher. After they were done, my teacher came in the room and turned on the TV. One of the towers were already hit. Shortly afterwards, the other tower was hit. After about an hour passed, the towers crumbled.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life changed drastically. Before September 11, I knew everyone had to die sometime. September 11 made me realize that it can be sooner than one thinks. This tragedy also helped me to try to be as nice to people as I can. Overall, I think that this tragic event has made me a better person, unfortunately at the cost of many honest peoples' lives.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think everyone should remember the brave people in the planes that knew they were going to crash and fought the hijackers so other people wouldn't get hurt. The firefighters, policemen, and volunteers that risked their lives, some of them losing their life, to save anyone they could. I also think that something that should be remembered is God. He saw this coming. Why do you think the buildings weren't as full as they usually were? Why do you think the planes weren't as full as they would have been because of last minute cancellations? Why were most of the people saved? The answer to all these questions is God.

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes, I flew an American Flag after 9-11.I now see the flag as more than just some fabric flapping in the wind. I see the flag as a symbol of freedom, of unity, of victory. The flag is more than red, white, and blue. At's for the people fighting the terrorists and freedom, the heroes that lost their lives trying to save one more life, the nation pulling together. The flag isn't a peice of fabric, it's who we are. It's symbolic of who what we are. The flag is more than just a flag. It's US.
