NMAH Story: Story
I was at the gym and I was in a class and when I came out everyone was gathered around the televisions. I pushed my way to the front just in time to witness the second plane hit the second tower on live television. I remember the whole gym went silent and the people on tv went silent. I continued to watch until I had to go to school. I ran to school and most of the kids were just saying rumors about what happened. In class it was kind of a mess. The teachers were talking, all the televisions were on and all the kids were talking. I of course shared how I felt when I watched the second tower fall to ground and see all those people die. I remember seeing little black dots fly out of the windows and I knew those were people and I prayed that they would grow wings and not die.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
It has made me aware of our government and it showed the truth behind the smile of our president. I think it was a rude awakening for our country, and we have grown from this experience in the best possible ways.
NMAH Story: Remembered
The people who died and the people who saved lives. No political leaders should be remembered. No one else. Just the heros, the innocent, and the survivors.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes I did and it was stolen from my house and burned in a pile in the middle of my street. But that didn't stop us, we put them on all of our cars and really high up on our house. No one can take away our pride and love for our country and we must show that.
