NMAH Story: Story
On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, I first heard about the terrorist attacks in my highschool chemistry class. We were just finishing up a lab assignment when our principal came over the intercom to tell us the horrific news. After his speech, he released us early to second period, knowing that it would take longer than usuall to get there. We sat in the room in total silence, watching the reports come flooding in. I was just returning from the bathroom wen the second tower fell. My heart fell with it, even though I was hundreds of miles away in Kentucky. The rest of the day is a blur, although I can recall exactly what I ate for lunch and what I wore to school that day. I'll never forget September 11.

NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, at my house we have always flown an american flag. We as a family believe it is a very important symbol of our freedom. This still stand true today.
