NMAH Story: Story
I was living in Heidelberg, Germany. I was at school when the plane went into the first tower. I didn't find out what had happened until after school when I was at volleyball practice. My coaches were acting like it happened down the street or somewhere close. They wouldn't let us leave to go home until our parents came to pick us up. I didn't even know what the World Trade Center or the Pentagon was until this happened. I didn't think that anything like that could happen.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
I'm not really scared or anything but I am more observant of my surroundings. When people stare it makes me nervous for some reason. I didn't know anybody that worked in there. No family members worked there either.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think that peopel should be aware that bad things can happen. They should be ready for the unexpected no matter what. I also think that it shows how strong Americans can be. Even though I'm not all for the bombing of Afganisatan, we have came through these tragic times.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes I did fly an American flag. It shows the unity of our country.
