NMAH Story: Story
Well on September 11th I didn't know what the Twin Towers were. Now I do. September 11th will definatly be in the newer history books. I doubt anybody will ever forget what happened if they were old enough to understand. When I have grandchildren I can tell them that I was a 6th grader when the WTC were attacked.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Yes, definatly! I am a lot more cautious of people, like before I could see an Arab and not think a thing of it but now if I see one I get suspicious. Also now I'm afraid of planes. I still will ride on them, I'm just a tad more cautious of riding on one.
NMAH Story: Remembered
Everything that happened should be remembered. Everbody should learn though that not every body from Afghanistan is bad, or not everybody that is darker or is not native to our country is bad. I think we also should remember those who died and those who gave their lives to try to keep those victims living.
NMAH Story: Flag
My family actually hung our flag out 2 days before September 11th. And yes, my feeling are definately different, I now feel very respectful to our flag and I get very senstive about really good American Songs. I want to see the flag on every house but I don't. I think everybody should have an American flag because we should show that we are proud to be Americans!
