I was early for a meeting in Weehawken,NJ that morning. I parked behind the hotel I was to have the meeting in and looked across the Hudson to see a plane hit the tower. Smoke and flames appeared as I struggled to comprehend what had just happened. A few minutes later, the second plane hit. After watching and praying for a while, I saw both towers collapse, one at a time. A man next to me was crying. He said that he was running late and normally would be on the 82nd floor of the north tower when the plane hit.

I notice things around me more.

Freedom has it's obligations. We all need to be proud to be free.

I have flown the flag since then. The flag is still only a piece of cloth, but it symbolizes our nation.
