NMAH Story: Story
During the terrorist attack on September 11, I was in athletics. Our athletic coach Mrs. Peggy McDonald told us about the attack during volleyball practice. Later that day every class I went to the television was turned on so everyone could see what had happened that day. Many peoples lives were lost that day and I know I will never forget the day that happened. My prayers are out to all the family's that had lost someone they loved so much.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Yes my life has change and I am sure many people's lives have changed to. People used to think that nothing this horrible could happen to us. We thought we were untouchable, but on September 11 we found out that we could be harmed. My life has changed greatly. Eventhough I didn't loose anyone on September 11, there was still a big affect on my life.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think ground zero should be a Memorial Park so everybody that has lost someone in this attack, should be able to go and pray for their loved ones. If we did build the Twin Towers again how would we know that this wouldn't happen again? Even if we had the pilots armed on the aircraft or radars that can signals plans coming, there is still a chance of this happening again if we build it.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes I did fly an American flag when this event happened. Eventhough September 11 happened my point of view hasn't change about the flag. I used to think that the flag meant that no matter what happened we would be one nation and stand stronge no matter what happened. So the flag still means alot to me. Now we are working as a nation.
