NMAH Story: Story
I thought I was the victim of a joke when my sister met me in the hall of our school and claimed that "two planes crashed into the World Trade Center". I will never forget when my teacher turned on the TV in the classroom. Silence... My class was, for the first time in my memory, completely and utterly silent. I also watched as both of the
towers fell- easily the most sickening thing I have ever seen. I remember saying aloud "There are thousands of people
in those towers!" And the haunted looks of my classmates as they realized what I had said.

NMAH Story: Life Changed
Yes. I have realized that many countries speak of bravery, freedom, and the equality of mankind... But America is the real thing.
NMAH Story: Remembered
The real-life triumph of good over evil. All the firefighters, police, and volunteers taught me that while 19 gave their lives to kill that day, hundreds gave theirs to save.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, and most definetely yes. I have never said the Pledge of Allegiance half-heartedly since that day.
