NMAH Story: Story
No one can feel more helpless then a did as a student who just heard the news over the PA system at my school. For most of the day I felt isolated from the rest of the world. We hardly had any tvs and I remmeber always thinking what was happening to the rest of the world while I was inside being protected by my school's brick walls. Despite the horror that out nation suffered in those few hours, nothing was better then finally getting information about the attacks and finally grasping the concept of what was happening to out country.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
I certainly question the meaning of life much more. I have become more grateful for everyday that I have lived. You never know when god will call his angels back to heaven. September 11 has certainly taught us that.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I beleive that nothing should be forgotten about September 11. We should make every effort to perserve every little detail about September 11. We have to remember everything so that those who have lost their lives will not have died in vain. History repeats itself when we forget, and we can not take that chance.
NMAH Story: Flag
I just rememeber the first day back to school after 9/11 and saying the pledge of alligance to the flag. I think for many students and myself this flag that I looked at almost everyday now had a much more powerful meaning. Everytime I look at our flag, i no longer just see a piece of cloth, but rather my country.
