Since the events of September 11th, my feelings have become stronger for pride in my country because I've seen an act of history. My life and this country, America, meant something but it never really meant this much because all I knew was stories, it wasnt like I was apart of anything. I've always been affected when I would hear stories or see pictures of war. Since the September 11th attacks I feel like I play an important role in America because I am an American. I know I would have died for my country, and it's great to know that threw these times we can all stick together. All the firefighters, rescuers, inocent people, and so many more hundreds of people that died either willingly or unwillingly they will always be remembered as great citizens for dieing for their country.
