NMAH Story: Story
September 11th affected everyone in a different way. For some people it was a time to call family members and friends and make sure they were ok and tell them that they were ok. Other people called to see any way that they could help. For me this was a huge wake up call. In a matter of about 5 minutes 3000 people lost there lives. Just like that. It was a shock. There I was 14 years old and I'm watching the twin towers being destroyed. Then they were gone. It made me realize something. We never know when were going to die. It could be 2 minutes or it could be 20 years. I know most kids think like me, that we have all the time in the world and can do this and that later on in life. But you don't know when you won't be able to do that. You never know what or when anything is going to happen. You have to live everyday as if it were your last, because one day, it will be.

I think that one thing everyone agreed on about September 11th is no matter how hard you try, you can't tear America down. Well always stand strong.
