NMAH Story: Story
I remember when I first heard about what happened. I was in period B, history class. Another teacher came in and told our class what happened. We turned on the tv and watched in awe. None of us could really believe what was going on. As we watched, we talked about Osama Bin Laden and why we thought he did this. Right before the end of class, we witnessed the towers falling. That is really when it hit me that thousands of people died right in front of our eyes, and how we saw history being made. It was a very scary feeling. Even though we were hundreds of miles away, it was amazing how much this affected every single one of us.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life has changed, but not drastically. It made me realize how none of us really know if we're going to be here tomorrow, or if our friends and family will be here either. It has made me grateful for everything and everyone i have in my life. I now know not to take anything for granted.
