NMAH Story: Story

I live in England in the United Kingdom and I was sat watching the BBC news when they announced the first attack on the twin towers. I thought at first that it had been some sort of accident until the second plane arrived and I knew then that America was under attack.

Then the news came on that the towers had collapsed and all those poor people dying in front of my eyes was horrifying.

When I saw your president being told at that school I could see the fear in his eyes and my heart went out to him.

When the Pentagon was hit I could not believe this was happening and then when the other plane came down in Pennsylvania I knew everything was true.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life has changed considerably because I feel more strongly towards defending our lives and freedom from terrorism.
It has made me empathise with our allies in the United States of America.

NMAH Story: Remembered

The sacrifice made by everyone involved in the rescues and some of them paying the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow man.

NMAH Story: Flag

I flew the Stars and Stripes until the last day of the 2001.

My family also made Stars and Stripes ribbons which we sold to raise funds for victims of 911.

The American flag is the flag of freedom and long may it remain so.
