I woke up and found my family around the TV, in California, watching the news. Both towers had been hit by the time i saw this. I remember being afraid the my small middle school would be hit when i got there.

At first I was scared that more attacks would come, but after a few days, I didn't really care. I couldn't fathom that what had happen was real, after seeing so many violet movies and things on TV, i started to think it was just like a show, even though some of my realitives were only blocks form the towers when they were hit.

I think that we should remember the people who died during the horrible event.

Befor the towers fall, i had never really experienced or seen much patriotism. After the event the flag actually meant something to me, before it had just been something that we saluted but after, it was our country, it was a simple that even though tragic events happen, we still are a country and a strong one at that
