911DA Story: Story

I started my day with a ride to school. My Dad had the radio tuned to 1070 am. That is how I received the dreadful news. I hadn't realized the importance. They told of planes crashing into our World Trade Center. Being a pilot myself, I knew that this person might have had an engine faliure or steering problems. I never thought that someone would have done something so horrible on purpose.

When I saw on the television from my second period class what had happened, I finally realized the magnitude of the problem. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw people jumping out of the buildings falling many stories to their death. Then there were the other commercial airlines which crashed to the ground.

These events are very disturbing. This is when our whole nation rose together in a more uniting bond. This might be the best thing that has come from such a tragic event that has happened in the history of the United States of America.
