NMAH Story: Story

I woke up on September 11th without feeling any different than I would any other morning. Everything felt the same as I followed my normal morning routine. When my dad called from work and told us to turn on the tv, my whole life, as well as the world's life changed at that very moment. I didn't quite understand what I was seeing, maybe I just didnt want to believe it. The newscasters were visibly shaken and in the same shock I was. I think everyone watching and witnessing that felt the same way.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life, as well as everyone's, has changed since September 11. I feel so lucky to live in such an astounding country. I took it for granted before September 11th, but now I see how amazing and fortunate I am to live in the United States because we are so united. The unity and strength shown by every American was breathtaking and made me proud to be called an American.

NMAH Story: Remembered

September 11th should be remembered for the courage, strength, and unity our country showed. We all came together in a time of great dispair and showed that nothing could tear a nation so dedicated and honorable apart. The lives lost should always be remembered, but embrace their life, not the anger towards who commited this.

NMAH Story: Flag

I always fly an American flag after the events of September 11th. I have more faith and pride in the American flag. Everything is now so apparent and precious in looking at it. It's innocence as it waves silently brings comfort to me now. It stands for so much more, and I hold onto that comfort tightly.
