I was home from school that day. At that particular moment I was asleep and my stepdad told me to get up and see what was happening. When I saw it i couldn't believe my eyes. All I heard was people saying "Oh my god," and people crying.Then I saw what had happened and I couldn't beleive it. I never believed something of that magnitude could happen to this great country.

I never thought that anything to the extent of 9-11 would hapen to America. Now I don't take things for granted like I used to. I think September 11 has made me more patriotic and concerned for my country.

I think that we should remember all the firefighters who risked their lives to save the lives of other people. I also think we should remember that we, as a country, united and got through the hard times. Finally, i think we should remember all the innocent lives that were taken in the event of September 11, and the people in the 3rd plane that brought it down off target.

Yes, I now get a special feeling inside me when the stars and stripes fly high.
