NMAH Story: Story

The bell rang. I exited my 2nd period math class talking with my friends about how much math homework we had just received. That turned out to be the least of my worries. As I entered Biology I saw some students watching the TV. It was the news and the reporter was saying how an airplane had crashed into one of the trade towers. Pretty soon the whole class was there and everyone was watching the TV. At this point I wasn't too concerned, it was just another plane crash, except this one coincidentally hit one of the trade towers. Just then another plane sturck the other tower. By now the TV clearly had everyone's attention. The entire class watched history unfold right there on the classroom TV.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life has not changed that greatly since September 11, 2001. The only difference is the annoyance of flying on an airplane. Since I travel a lot, I experience the airport hassles frequently. I understand they need to protect airplane passengers, but it is so ridiculous to have to spend hours at an airport to make sure that you have enough time to go through security. Plus I don't enjoy having to take my shoes off.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think the event should be remembered as an attack on America, in the same way as Pearl Harbor. And just also in rememberance of the people's lives that were lost and all of the tales of heroism that happened that day.

NMAH Story: Flag

Yeah my mom did. She flew a flag on her car. My grandma also flew a flag outside of her house. And no my feelings have not changed about the flag. It is still just THE FLAG.
