I awoke that day only to see the horrible events taking place on television. When I first started watching, only one of the towers had been hit. Then while the television station was broadcasting, out of nowhere a second plane came into view and crashed into the other tower. I will never forget how that looked. I also remember seeing some people actually jump of the building in hope to withstand the fall. What a will they had to live. All I could think about that day were all the poor people who had lost a loved one or those who had lost their own life. I'd never felt so helpless in my life till that day, the only thing I was able to do was pray. Pray that God would somehow watch over all of us.

The way our nation pulled together in such a time of disarray.
