NMAH Story: Story
I witnessed history on September 11, 2001 in my Leadership class. Our class watched this tragic event on television. We were stunned to see what had happened to the World Trade Center earlier that morning.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life has changed since September 11th because I've realized that terrorism can happen anywhere. We shouldn't take so many things for granted, and as a U.S. citizen I should be thanful for our freedom and our rights.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think that all of the firemen, policemen, and people that risked their lives should be remembered becuase without them, some people would not have been rescued from the fires. Some people wouldn't have made it out of the World Trade Center at all. Firemen should especially be remembered for their commitment and their courageous acts on September 11, 2001.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, I did fly an American flag after the events of September 11th, and yes, my feelings about the American flag have changed since September 11th. I look at the flag and I realize that we are lucky to live in America, and we should all be proud to live in this country.
