I was getting ready for work and saw a news break on TV when the first plane hit the world trade center.
My adult son and his friends and I sat glued to the TV until I couldn't watch any longer or I'd be late for my 11 AM shift.

Not dramatically but in subtle ways it has. I smell the flowers a little more often, tell people I love them a little easier and sweat the little things alot less.

How the nation came together as a whole.

I put a flag decal on my vehicle and on my office door. I put red/white and blue lights outside my house. I think the flag has always been important to me but now I express it more.
