On Sept 11, I thought my day would be the same. I had only been up for about 20 mins when my husband called and asked me if I had turned on the television and I told him no. He then told me a plane had hit the World Trade Center, but I told him not to be joking with me like that. Then I asked him was this a way you are telling me Happy Anniversary. We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, He told me to turn and the tv and that is when I realized he was telling me the truth. As I watched the events unfold I could not believe my eyes. That night as I klwent to work that was all I heard about and it made me really sad about all the lives that had been take on such a short notice.

My life has changed because I have realized that I have a wonderful life. Also that God is watching over me so that I can live my life " in the land of the free".

I think it should be made a national holiday so that we can honor those that lost their lives so that we can continue to live in this great nation that we have.

Yes we flew an American flag outside our house and on our cars.
