NMAH Story: Story

It was a rather warm day, i was in school. I will never forget walking down the halls of my schools and hearing people talk about what happened. Everyone was talking about it. It was like a bad dream. Then, my principle came on over the PA system and informed everyone of the events that had taken place. Teachers turned on the T.V.s and students and teachers all watched in disbelife. We asked our selfs why would anyone want to do this to our country? Who would do this? All the inoccent lives that were taken that day. The young and the old. Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, all inocent people who went to work not expecting to loose thier lifes. Why did this happen to our country? Questions still remain unanswered! Why does there have to be so much hate in this world? Why cant we all get along? After September 11th my Cousin got sent across Sea's for almost 2 years. It was scary. We did not know if he was ever going to come home. We did not know if he was going to come home alive. We prayed to God everyday for the safe return of our loved one. And although he returned home safe and unharmed, a little overwhelmed, we could not help but think of the people that lost close loved ones. And the only reason for the lost of lives was because there is far to much hate in the world.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life has made an unmarkable change since September 11th. I know realize how fragile life is. I no longer take life for granted. When my cousin got sent over Sea's, we had no contact with him. We lived day by day praying to God he was alive and he would come home to us. We lived like that for almost 3 years. And then when he came home, it was the happiest day of our life, but even though part of us was happy, we still prayed and thought for those who were not as fortunite as us and thier loved ones did not return home.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think everything should be remembered!! All the people who lost thier lives going to what they thought would be a normal day of work, and then thier lives taken from them in a flash. All the people that died just doing thier jobs, people that died tring to help other people. And the reason for all this was because of HATE!!! Let us never forget the people that lost thier lives and how powerful hate really is.

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes, we did. We flew it in honnor of all the people that lost thier lives and in hopes that people would love one another. In hopes that my cousin would be returned to us unharmed, we flew it for all the people that were fighting for our country, but most of all, if flew in our sky as a symbol of our country free and willing to fight for what we belive. To show other countries that we were not going to back down and give up.
