NMAH Story: Story
I live on the West Coast so usually I would have just been waking up. The phone rang it was my finace telling me a plane had just hit Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. I ran and turned on the TV and witnessed the 2nd plane hitting Tower 2. The words to describe how I felt are not in any dictionary. It was beyond horrific.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
I learned ISLAM means submission, that is, submission to the will of God. I learned that most Muslims are very spiritual people. I learned most are in tune with God. I learned I can't hate Muslims for the acts of fanatics who kill in the name of Allah. I never really paid much attention to Muslims before, they had their religion I had mine. I am more tolerant now of all who cross my path. And I tell the people I love they are loved and very important to me. I learned peace not war makes for a much healthier planet!! Peace to all men...
NMAH Story: Remembered
That America is not Disneyland any longer. Terroism did and will happen here. What I want people to know is that peace and love are a much better way to go than terroism and hate. Discussion is better than war. And finally that God had no hand in the killings of September 11, 2001 or any other act of terroism!!!
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes I did!!! I am very proud when ever I see someone else having the same pride in this wonderful country. The American flag stands for Liberty and Freedom. When I see our red, white and blue I think of all who have laid down their lives for these things and I so appreciate that!
