I remember sitting in math class and my my princapal saying that the World Trade Center as been hit by an airplane. She ran into the room and turned the TV on thats when I saw the second plane hit I was sitting there thinking I have never know that there was such thing as the World Trade center. I knew it was bad I just didnt know what it was as I coulndn't pay attenion in class for the rest of the day,I was trying to figure out what was happening and why it was happening so fast. I recently went to Washington,D.C. with my 8th grade class we went right by the place where the Pentagon had got hit then it finally came to me this was the most important event in all of US history. I think that my life has changed I never thought that a war would result as all of this and I never really thought that I would live to see a war happen but I guess I did. It has changed me beacause I finally understand why we have a milatary and why our country is the "Land of the free".

How somthing so bad can bring people to a more peaceful state I have noticed that since 9-11 that people are more friendly and are more outgoing persay. I think that people should always remember it no matter what and I no I wont forget it. People should relize that our USMC,Navy,Army and Air Force will protect us like they have for the past two hundred years.

Yes I did. My feelings have changed towards the flang because that flag just dosent stand for a country but for freedom,peace and honor.
