On the morning of 9/11. I had just sent my son off to school. I was just sitting watching the news and it happened. It was told that a small plane hit the WTC. As the minuets past it got worse. By that time I was on the phone with my mom. Shaken we hung up to listen to what had just happened. My sister called and we were on the phone as the 2nd plane hit and she screamed we are under attack. She had to go to call her husband. I sat in disbelief. My sister called back just as the plane hit in Washington DC. Oh my we are going to war. We both knew it.

My family has been split. We have has family members shipped off to fight in this war. It saddens me, I am 100% more patrotic that I was 1 year ago.
I also joined a group because of what happened. Operation Special Delivery, is a free Doula service for the wives of men who have be deployed. It is a great honor to be by a woman side as she gives birth. I feel like I am serving my country.

All of it. It will NEVER be forgotten.
