I was listening to a CD on the way to work so when I walked into work they told me a plane had crashed into the twin towers. I ran into the office with a TV just as the second plane hit. We were all horrified and in total disbelief. I sat and watched as the plane crashed into the pentagon. Then reports of a plane crashing in PA. I thought how many more what is next. Finally at noon they let us out of work and I went home to my husband and two children. I just wanted to hug them.

I have learned to really appreciate what is important. My family and friends. I overlook some of the silly stupid things that used to upset me. Life is too short not to enjoy it to the fullest.

We need to remember those innocent people who died and the hereos who raced into to try to save as many people as they could. I hope the country remember and keeps the spirit of cooperation and compassion for others. We need to remember the pride we have in our country, our police officers and firemen.

Yes we did fly a flag and put one on our cars. The flag more than just a symbol of our country the flags showed to all that we are not defeated we are united as one under our flag.
