NMAH Story: Story
It was September 11 2001. It was my freshman year, and I really wasn't comfortable with high school yet. It was third period and that meant it was time for English with Mrs. Hatler. As I walked in, I noticed that the television as on. When I sat down I saw Mrs. Hatler. She had a very troubled look on her face. I then looked up at the TV and saw what was going on. As I looked up I see "BAM!!!!", a plane hit one of the WTC buildings. I later found out that out that I had seen the second plane hit live. At that point I really wasn't sure what had gone down. I was worried, confused, and very interested all at the same time. When I learned what had happened I was very sad.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life has changed in many ways. I know one thing is for sure. I will never look at a plane the same way again. I also know that I will never walk by a middle-easter person the same way either. Overall, I will never look at anything the same way again, and I will never take this country for granted.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think that everything should be remembered, the good and the bad. We should remember all of the people that died on this horrific day. We should remember all of the fire fighters who risked and lost there lives. We should remember how quickly our president reacted to the situation. As for the terrorists they should remember not to mess with America.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes. They are much stronger.
