NMAH Story: Story
I was in eighth grade at the time, and I was very naive to the world. I had no idea what terrorism was and I never hear of the twin towers. On the morning of September 11th, my dad woke me up to take my usual morning shower. While I was in there he ran in and yelled Kayla the a plane just hit the Twin Towers!. When he told me that nothing ran through my mind until I sat down and watched the tv. I couldnt believe my eyes. I saw people jumping out windows, huge flames, and people panicking, this one thought went through my mind. How can people be capable of doing such horrible things. It made me feel unsafe, as everyone in the United States did. I went to school and in every one of my classes we watched the news. I was very angry and upset that day. I wished I could have done something to help my country but I couldnt. A year later my school showed a documentary in the gym. That made me feel like going out and killing all of those terrorists. Ive never felt this much anger. I really dont have a special story to tell anyone but I just wanted to get out how I feel.
